Dr. Dean Henricks
Dr. Henricks has owned Citrus Heights Pet Hospital for 12 years and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years. He has practiced in the Sacramento/Citrus Heights area for the past 29 years. He is a graduate of the Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine class of 1969. Dr. Henricks previously owned a veterinary hospital in Crescent City and also practiced in the Napa Valley. He enjoys the challenges of veterinary medicine and looks forward to each new day and each new patient.
Dr. Henricks is a member and past president of the Sacramento Valley Veterinary Medical Association, a member and on the Board of Governors for the California Veterinary Medical Association, and was just elected as President-elect of the California Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Henricks is also very involved in his community. He is an active Citrus Heights Rotary member, , as well as being quite active in the local church they attend. His "pet project" is Rotary Youth Exchange and he has been on the district committee for about 18 years. Dr. and Mrs. Henricks have hosted 13 exchange students in their home. They have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. Besides community involvement, Dr. and Mrs. Henricks love travel and family visits.
Dr. Averi Brickson
Dr. Brickson started with Citrus Heights Pet Hospital in the summer of 2007. She took some time off for maternity leave and presented her family with a beautiful baby boy in early 2008. She has practiced for several years, some large animal work, equine, and small animal work. She is married and has two boys, a couple of aging equine, and two dogs. She also has a hobby of singing with the Sweet Adelines and we all enjoy her whistling here in the hospital.
Dr. Mary Biesiadecki
Dr. Biesiadecki has worked for us for several years as our Saturday veterinarian. She is a graduate of University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and enjoys working in several different hospitals during her work week. She enjoys her three dogs and is an active member of the Sacramento Valley Veterinary Medical Association.
